Planking is a new online fad that has spread after a 20 year old attempted to do so on a balcony resulting in death. Planking is to lay horizontally in a strange or unusual place. You must straighten your body and point your fingers and toes down (towards your feet), then you must name your "plank" and post a picture of the creator (of the plank) performing the pose on Facebook. But, participants are unknowing of the fact that this new past time has a dark past. The term planking originated from slavery. Planking was the method they used to pack slaves in ships to make more space for the rest. Like in this picture below:

Does this photo change the way anyone feels about the subject of planking now, or do you still feel it's just harmless fun? We're curious to know.I don't fault those who have no knowlege of where the term originated from but, this is why we should research and learn where things begin and not fall victim to fads just because everyone else is doing so.

Do you have to make sacrifices for fame? Nicki Minaj considers her changes a sacrifice others refer to it as "selling out" or "selling your soul" Old Nicki has my heart, I feel her music. It was [her music] much better because she had everything to prove and nothing to lose. I understand her broadening her horizens by opening up to new genres but, I don't agree with changing who you are. I listened to all of Minaj's pre-fame mixtapes, all of which can be found on She never mentioned anything about barbie or being pink, it was straight hood. Now, she's this person we no longer know saying she's always loved barbie and pink when three years ago you refered to yourself as Nicholis and supposedly went hard in the streets. I respect her hustle and her grind so I will not knock her and as a young female entering the entertainment industry I imagine it is easy to lose yourself if you don't go in knowing who you are. I can live with her switching up her flow but, the hip implants, the nose job, the boob job,the butt job just took things to a whole new level. I miss the old Nicki and I want her back. Her emotional ballad, "Dear Old Nicki" off of her Album ,"Pink Friday" explains why she made some of the changes. The fact she acknowledges that she has changed signifgantly gives me hope that maybe she'll come back and be who she really is. For everyone who hates Nicki Minaj, I urge you to listen to one of her old mixtapes and everyone who loves her now, go listen as well to see who see really is.  It's a sad situation but, there is talent underneath all those customes, voices, and make up. Who do you like better OLD NICKI or NEW NICKI? Would you change everything about yourself for a major record deal and fame?

This video is a few years old but many still haven't seen it. If you are one of those people rapper, Gucci Mane punches his ex girlfriend in the face and pushes her off stage in mid performance. His ex girlfriend gives a brief interview at the end of the video stating there are no hard feelings. (Typical)

"Chris Brown and Odd Future affiliate Frank Ocean went at it on Twitter yesterday! The beef was sparked by Chris who tweeted “I f*ck wit Frank Ocean! Reminds me of a young James Fauntleroy or Kevin Cossum.” The messages was taken as an “underhanded” compliment by Ocean who replied ““i f*cks wit chris brown, reminds me of a young sisqo or ike turner, i just dont like underhanded comments. thats all im saying.” The beef escalated when Chris called Ocean an “ape” and Ocean called Brown “Christopher.” "
CTFU. Twitter beefs always amuse me.

The saying less is more has never been more true.
There IS a such thing as too much. As a man I like them big but I mean, I don't want to fear getting a black eye by getting slapped in the face by one of these. This post is not to say ladies if you have big breasts, be ashamed, not at all.  Just don't expose them on FACEBOOK like this because you want attention. If you put yourself out there like a hoe you will get played like one, realize your worth! I can't wife somebody like this, or even bring you home to my people. We like it when it doesn't    look like your trying, and baby you trying too hard for me!
